I personally have had a very bad expierence with my last MSi motherboard. If you were to cut costs on anything, buy a $15 keyboard now, and in a month when you have an extra $100 for a keyboard, buy that gaming keyboard. You don't want to cut corners on a motherboard that you want to overclock with.

Also, ASUS's Z97-A motherboard is pretty great.
