hi guys, I am about to build my system soon and I originally went with a Kingston RAM, but now am having second thoughts since its CL10.

So heres the RAM I currently have in my cart
Kingston HyperX FURY 8GB Kit (2x4GB) 1600MHz DDR3 CL10 DIMM - Black (HX316C10FBK2/8)
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00J8E93G6/ref=ox_sc_a...
its for $77

here are two RAMs I think seem to be better
VisionTek Black Label 8GB Kit of 2 (2x4GB) PC3-12800 CL9 1600 LP DDR3
http://www.amazon.com/VisionTek-PC3-12800-Desktop-Memor...
$72

VisionTek Black Label 8GB Kit of 2 (2x4GB) PC3-12800 CL8 1600 EX DDR3
http://www.amazon.com/VisionTek-PC3-12800-Desktop-Memor...
$79

am also a bit worried about how high the sticks are and if the will hit my cpu cooler, the 212 evo.

so which one would be best to go with.

I would get the VisionTek Black Label, CL9 sticks for the simple fact that they are a little cheaper and they look like they will fit with the 212 evo. If they don't fit, the fan can be adjusted up on the evo.

First, DRAM height doesn't matter to the EVO, the fan(s) (yes you can add a second one) are height adjustable, simply remove the side brackets (clip on) from the fins and set it where you want it, with no ill affects to cooling. I'm not a fan of Kingston and even less of Vision Tek, I'd look to GSkill preferably or Corsair as a secondary source, will get sticks with better binned ICs and on the stronger side
