I'm a very enthusiastic person when it comes to building a good system, a system that stands apart from the rest, I'm one of those that if I want to have something, I wanna have it, good, and the best of it, and If I have the money I will invest every single penny I own, for it.

So right now, I'm planning to start college and all the Federal Aids that I applied to, are practically paying for my tuition, so I wanted to make sure the first remainder of that scholarship + some loans I've got to help me get a big jump-upgrade on my system.

I'm looking forward to improve around 200% ~ 250% my current system with this build I'm planning to do, anyways I came here to see what you guys say about it (the new build) and what is recommended for my needs... My needs are:

■ Major Gaming (Mid - Priority)
■ Major Video Editing (High - Priority)
■ Photoshop'ing
■ Heavy Multi-Tasking
■ Fast and Reliable Heavy Storage Usage
■ Display Flexibility (Thus, added 2x Monitors)

I don't want to be aiming into workstations and I want to skip them as much as possible mostly because of budget matters, even though, I know it would be the best recommendation for this specific situation, but I will let you guys to decide that, my budget range is from $1k (MIN) ~ $3k (MAX)

This is the system, I wanna build so far and the one it looks more fitting for what I'm looking for, Recommendations are HIGHLY APPRECIATED!

Alright I will try doing those recommendations! if I max out the budget I will have to degrade something :S - probably the keyboard maybe :D

I will let other people swarm in and hopefully the configuration they agree the most between themselves, that's what I will be finally be doing.

Thanks again!

Awesome! yes indeed pretty good systems I see with those configurations! I already made the change from Z87 for Z97 EXTREME 9 with CPU from i7-4770k to i7-4790k :D

Thanks for the recommendations!~
If you see something to optimize it better and tweak it a little bit further still on that budget range, keep it coming! :D

Yeah I know at least 1x 780 Ti, will do it's major thing on games-wise, but mainly I wanna focus on distributing that power for Video Editing as well, so I added the second one :D

I'm not overly keen on the PSU tbh, couldn't you find a seasonic or XBX? Or at least a non "CX" Corsair PSU. xD

Also, you say heavy rendering, photoshopping, then I'd go for either 2x Samsung 840 EVO 500GB in R0 like I do or 2x Samsung 840 EVO 1TB in R0. It'll cut a humongous chunk of loading times and work times.

That would work, however those two gpus are underclocked so two gtx 780 tis would perform a bit faster.

So it's up to you, power savings or higher performance.

Thanks for submitting your config. optimization, looks and sounds nicer and more flexible. I will tweak those components right away :D Also mind sharing why avoid at all cost those "CX" PSU's? Thanks in advance!

Yeah just like TechyInAZ said, they are underclocked and also I'm looking for more compatibility with Adobe Suite programs, AE, Pr, Ps, etc, etc. they rely ultimately on NVIDIA cards because they support CUDA which is compatible with the Adobe Suite.

Thanks for the recommendation :D

Post updated with the parts has been discussed here :D Thanks everyone!~

CX and to some extent the RM series has bad capacitors.

The build looks as optimized as can be, however may I suggest Swiftech H220 or Corsair H100i as a means of cooling? Not sure if the Corsair H110/Kraken X60 will fit in the top of the case, although it says it has room for 2 140mm fans.
