Can anybody suggest me the list of components to make a gaming PC upto limit of $1000. Please don't include monitor, speaker, ups. Try to maximize the performance. I'm interested in Intel chipset and processor don't recommend AMD. Please also include GPU in this one. Is there any need to wait for the 5th gen processors. I've one or two months to decide. I need atleast 16GB RAM. Is this budget sufficient for 4K gaming for upcoming releases?

For 4k gaming with Intel you will need at least an i7 4790k, good Z97 board and dual high end GPUs. It's going to cost more than $1000.

Overclocking build. If you don't want to overclock, you could change some of the parts and fit an SSD in there.

If you want 4k with only 1000, you should go for AMD.

A good 4k gaming rig is going to cost more than $1000 considering you'd need to spend ~$1000 or more on video cards alone. 16gb of ram is overkill for gaming and to get 16Gb you would need to get a slower cpu or gpu which will lower gaming performance.

I'd suggest a $1000 build with a single GPU right now, with plans to upgrade to a 2nd GPU in the future.
