I've built a new rig under a month ago and it has just restarted during WoW as if someone just pressed 'restart'. Can someone please help me with this? it has happened twice now. Specs are Intel I5 Quad 3.4ghz, Gigabyte 750GTX graphics, 500W PCU, asus motherboard, Corsair tower and a 1tb HDD. Thank you. also windows is Windows 7 and is on my HDD

The make of the pcu is Coolermaster and i think its the RS500.
It has only happened when playing WoW yeah but once about a month ago right after i got it and once just after i posted this answer. I just want to prevent it happening in order to save damage to my rig cheers

The RS500 usually means it an Extreme sereis which is tier 5 and should be replaced ASAP. A failing PSu can cause the system to reandomly restart and/or shutdown amongst other things.

Its a good possibility given their track record, but without testing with a known good psu there is no way to be certain. Either way the psu should be replaced.
