For a new PC, will mount ATX mobo and 600w PSU, want these features:

- easy to install all components, first time I'll do it
- excellent air flow, cpu and GPU will work for long time on heavy tasks
- high speed frontal connections, USB3 but possibly also Firewire, Thunderbolt, eSATA
- compact, just need to install a couple of HDD, SSD, dvd burner other than mobo and its components
- stable, no noise or vibrations after some usage

I'm a fan of corsair cases, the build quality is always nice, and this Corsair Carbide series 300R is no exception. Plenty of options for cooling, no vibrations/noise that I know of (although this depends on the fans, not the case really)

It comes with a standard HDD tray but you can mount the SSD's in there ..or anywhere in the case really..people even mount them behind where the cables go. There is no firewire/thunderbolt or eSata .. to be honest I don't see many cases if at all that really run firewire/esata for panel connectors at all.

Another option if you're willing to spend around $110 shipped is the Vengeance Series c70

We can't offer a case with firewire or thunderbolt.

Excellent case for the money. Great airflow, near silence, has loads of space for building a system and very stable.

Fractal Design it's beautiful, but cost just too much for my budget....

Corsair 300R was one of my first choice, but evaluating also new Cooler Master CM 690 III, any reason for one or the other?

I think it ultimately boils down to preference and how you like the look of either of them. I've never been fond of coolermaster cases and their overall design. I like the build quality of the corsair cases much better. Both will certainly by fine for what you want to do..but I've always had better luck with Corsair cases. I've used the 300R , 350D, 450D, 650D, and 600T.
