Hi, I'm 16 in two weeks and I'm really contemplating building a new pc instead of buying next/current gen. I have about £750 and this is my build- http://pcpartpicker.com/parts/partlist/ . please tell me if this is good as i would hate to waste that kind of money, its the most I've ever had... So if you could please get back to me asap as I'm slightly nervous, due to actually building it and incase it breaks or doesn't work. Thanks

Edit- this might be the link http://pcpartpicker.com/p/hskJgs

eh, no. We all thought the 8 cores would be great but only very few games like battlefield 4 can use all those cores.

The intel core i5 haswell has 4 very strong cores, while the fx has 8 weak cores.

Video games have always relied on powerful single threaded performance, that is why the fx suffers in this area.

wow thanks man, but only one issue. are you sure intell would provide better gaming than the amd fx 8 core black edition? and are all those components good? thanks.

Edit- sorry i didnt see you answer that on the other thread :)

Why cant you go to the link? I did? My build is better BTW, no offence

Please do research....
The price of the CPU shows the difference lol.

These are WAY better for gaming. Crappy AMD runs hot and is for more of a workstation multi tasking. Intel has very good performance per core.

haha fair enough man. so just a few question, how would this run games? sorry i dont mean to be a pain. and is building it as easy as the internet makes out?
oh and would the ssd be used for the os?

Building is easy if you know what your doing. Newegg has a good tutorial. Mine was fairly easy the first time.

This will run BF4 on ultra 1080P with AA and AO at around 60FPS. My personal settings are Ultra no AA no AO but with 145% super sampling,

No you don't! Also, add uk. to the front of your link to make it pounds. I was kind enough to already do that. Also, do not say your build is better just because. That is completely unfair.

But it is lol
A GTX 770 is better for the most part than a 280X I gotta better Mobo. An SSD, and a K proc with a hyper 212.
