the kingpin version is for extreme OCing (liquid nitrogen comes to mind). IMO get the classified w/acx and use the extra $100 difference to put a waterblock on it.

Unless your a ultra overclocker the classified acx one is to get.

For the general gamer, the kingpin version is a complete waste of money.

Plus, you can still do excellent overclocks on a non kingpin card.

If you don;t overclock, the galaxy hof edition might be better as both of these cards are deisgned for overclockers, or you can go for the zotac amp edition?

If you don't overclock and would like to stick with EVGA then I'd recommend getting the Superclocked variant and avoiding the ACX coolers.

Otherwise the MSI 780 Ti Gaming is a great alternative.

Go with the EVGA GTX 780 Ti Classified w/ ACX http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00H9ZRCBO. There aren't many situations in which I'd recommend the Kingpin.

As others have already said, the Kingpin is for extreme overclocking.

Yes, the Classified is an amazing card for overclocking and has binned chips. Many people put it under a water block for serious overclocking. The KingPin is just an overpriced model that really isn't much better than the Classified.
