I'm about to start building my first PC. I've seen alot of people saying not to build around carpets because of the static, I was wondering about animal hair?As I have 2 cats and a Labradoodle that malts ALOT! Will Animal hair do any damage when building?

ehh, If you have any on the tablet your working on then if you can get rid of the hair on the table.
Idk about hair really, but I'd treat it like carpet just to be safe.

As you're putting the CPU on, if you get a strand of cat fur in between, you may have issues.
As you're cooking dinner, if you get a strand of Labradoodle fur in the pot, you may have issues.
How much fur IS flying around?
The carpet thing is for static, not carpet strands. If your work surface is clean and dry, you should have no problems. Just don't let the cats assist in part placement.
