I can't update this computer to 64 bit due to no ethernet driver.

This Optiplex 380 SFF came with a Dell administrator account. I can't update to 64 cause I can't find a 64 bit driver for a Broadcom Netlink Gigabit 15.6.0.6

This computer has a 32 bit Windows 7 that I was trying to update to a Windows 7 64 bit. When I get there there is an error message about my network driver, and it doesn't even know what I have. Maybe this ethernet isn't cut out for a 64 bit operating system. Or that the Dell administrator account that I can't get rid of, won't let me.

But I wouldn't need the driver if I hadn't already have tried. So that's how I know. When I went back via system image I checked out the network adapter. The one installed is Broadcom Netlink Ethernet though their documentation (on the Utilities disk) says 57xx Gigabit Integrated Controller.

If you Computer came with 32 bit Window installed you can not use it with 64 bit anything. (programs or hardware) You need to reinstall Windows 64 bit software. Do you have a Windows Disk with the 64 bit software?
