How do I know what GPUs are compatible with this system? Thanks

Motherboard: Gigabyte EP45-UD3P (Socket 775)
Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo E4600 @ 2.4GHz
Memory: 4GB of Dual-Channel DDR2 @ 332MHz (Kingston)
Hard Drive: 500GB WD Caviar Green (SATA)
Power Supply: 650W Corsair TX
Video Card: 1GB NVIDIA GeForce 9500 GT (EVGA)

You can run any modern graphics pcie based card up to a GTX780ti.

Your cpu isn't real strong. I wouldn't go past a R9 270x or GTX760. Your power supply will handle them too. You have to check whether they will fit in your case.
