ROG VII Ranger vs Hero vs Formula

So I have a 8350 with an ASUS m5a99fx at the moment and although it's fine with my GTX 780 ti in games I'm not sure it is worth it to upgrade and I was wandering whether the differences between these motherboards are worth it.

I know the Formula has more water cooling options for custom loops but I cannot afford a custom loop so i'm just using an H100i

Is it worth getting the Formula if i'm not fully water cooling? Worth getting the Hero over the Ranger? Worth upgrading at all?

Unless you absolutely need the extra features those other motherboards include, better audio, extra SATA ports, etc. I personally wouldn't upgrade at all, your motherboard is more than enough.

I can't tell you for sure, but look on ebay or Craigslist for a similar combo like yours to give yourself an idea.
