Just got new desktop computer and found out it doesn't support VGA, I think its got something to do with the graphics card only supporting HDMI and DVI connection seen as there's stickers about HDMI all over the tower.

What I wold like to know is that if I get an new full HD monitor that has a HDMI port, will it connect with my PC and give me good picture quality?
The picture quality that I got when I connected it to my HD ready TV was terrible, and I tried everything to get it looking good.

Thank you to anyone that responds

Hi, thanks for the reply. I think I might get a converter like you said.

yeah but vga has bad quality it can carry like what 4k but the 4k is going to look like 720p. Hdmi is king in some aspects but if it has dvi go dvi. Dvi has high pixel maximum or it can go 4k with 60fps(I pretty sure with dual link dvi).
