No error code, no blue screen, no indication of any problems. CPU temps below 40 Celsius.

Some slight background: I spilled a small amount of energy drink on the case. Quickly wiped it up. Apparently some seeped down the back of it. Problems started two days later, I highly doubt it is coincidental.

I thought maybe some seeped into the PSU. I ordered a new one and it didn't fix it. I looked inside of it and noticed a few small spots where it looked like it had dripped. The spots were on the back of the video card and on the bottom of the case.

I unplugged the video card from the power supply in case it was causing it. Still shut down after 30 minutes. I went into BIOS and left the computer hanging there, it still shutdown after about 20-30 minutes.

It has to be the motherboard right? I probably need a new one? I am at my wit's end here and I would appreciate any help you guys could offer me.

I am also not entirely sure if this category is appropriate.

Not sure how I reply without posting it as a solution.

But no, I saw no spots where you mentioned. None that I could tell. The vga port on the motherboard is sticky though.
