Audio cutting in and out

All audio is just randomly cutting in and out. I already disabled all other devices except for my headphones. I look in my sound and hardware window and sometimes the computer isn't detecting the headphones. Sometimes the computer does detect the headphones, but no sound is coming through them and sometimes I do get sound.

maybe the headphone jack or cord is loose. can you test it on a phone or something else?

Is this on speakers and headphones?

Check your audio devices are working and the drivers are up to date in Control Panel, Device Manager - Sound, Video and Game Controllers

Uninstalled and reinstalled drivers, drivers aren't the problem apparently.

Is this on speakers and headphones? On all usb?

My headset uses the headphone and microphone jacks, it doesn't use USB.
