need help with bios

and as long as you have the install key and the os install disk though you wouldn't need to buy a new os. id recommend backing up critical files before you began. then do a windows reinstall when you change the motherboard. as long as the reinstall works right (whyu I say to backup) you wont have to do much as your old files should still be in place

What OS? If Win7 or 8 chances are good you can simply plug in the OLD drive and it will boot up (set the BIOS to the same drive type as you had in the old rig i.e. AHCI or IDE and have Win fully updated). Make a backup of all your data, put the old drives in, boot it up, if it can, the OS will load appropriate default drivers, then load the latest mobo drivers from the mobos web page, run a good registry cleaner (Wise has a free version) to get rid of erroneous, old entries, and then will prob have to re-activate Win
