I just received my lenovo p500 touch laptop from geek squad to get my keyboard replaced, just got it back. I had windows 8.1 but when I got it back from what they must have reverted my computer back to Windows 8. anyways I was trying to reinstall windows 8.1 but I had to first update Windows 8 which is what I was doing, but there are 102 updates to be installed and its been on 13 for an hour. I can't tell if my computer is frozen or if I just need to wait and worried because before I restarted my computer my keyboard wasn't letting me type but I talked to technical support and they told me that it was probably because the computer was updating some driver that dealt with the the keyboard. Can someone help me, should i just be patient or do something about this? Is this normal.

And for anyone else reading this, this is but one more in a long line of reasons to never, ever let GeekSquad touch your PC.
A laptop keyboard replacement should have nothing to do with the OS.
