For the last few days, I've noticed a continuous electric current throughout the case of my PC, causing regular crashes of my system. I called an electrician, and he said I had the plug reversed (there was no big/small), and once we reversed the plug it seemed to be ok. However, the issue is still present, and after further testing, I've discovered that this issue ONLY happens when I run any kind of PC game.

Any time I load up any kind of game, there is a charge running throughout the case, its like a mild static shock but its continuous. I've opened the case and used aerosol dust cleaners to remove dust, but the issue persists. I checked for any kind of loose wiring, but Im not an expert and everything seems ok.

I assume its something to do with my graphics card power supply, but I really have no idea, and am on a limited budget.. Any suggestions as to what I could do?

Edit: Ok so the issue is not local to gaming, it is ongoing without running a game, but to a much lesser degree. Help!

its a 3 year old Dell computer, this is the first time I'm experiencing this problem so I assume its some kind of wear but I'm really not sure what to look at replacing/fixing..
