Looking to build a gaming PC...Need help

So recently i've been wanting to get a gaming PC because the laptop i have doesn't do the job.
When i get a new computer I will be playing games like CoD: Ghosts or Titanfall basically whatever games. Ill also be recording videos with an HD PVR and editing in Sony Vegas Pro and planning on running a triple monitor display and playing on all 3. So i've been wondering what exactly i need or should have for specs and i'm looking to pay about $1700 if anyone could leave some suggestions or some builds that'd be a great help! Heres what i've built but its more than my budget also looking for fast render times in Sony Vegas Pro, Thanks!

That is an extreme amount of money for what you are getting:

1. You want the 4790k for the video editing

2. The 760s will be much faster than a 780 but still tight for 3 monitors.

3. "Standard" generally means "cheapo unit"

This is $90 cheaper.....and waaay more performance and you get satisfaction of building yourself.

You can put the $90 towards the 2nd 780 Ti as MoBo and PSU are adequately sized for it.

I dunno what you are reading .... the 760's in SLI will range from 0% to 20+% faster. Using your reference ....

-BF3 Ultra = 125.8 / 11.5 = 12.8% advantage for 760 SLI over 780
-Metro Last Light HD = 38.8 / 38.1 = 1.8% advantage for 760 SLI over 780
-Tomb Raider Ultimate = 85.6 / 74.6 = 14.7 advantage for 760 SLI over 780

And average margin of victory of 9.8% ..... that's like winning the 100 yard dash by 10 yards

nVidia's has made sure that we don't quite get the advantage we got back in the days of the 500 series .... the 560 Ti in SLI, you got a 40% performance advantage for 80% of the cost of a 580. Today you will pay $10 (4%) more for a pair of MSI 760's than ya would for a MSI 780 .... not bad for a 13% performance increase.....looking at it from the perspective of a $1800 box, the 760 SLI build is 0.5 % more expensive and goes 12.85 % faster ....a return on investment of 25 to 1.
