Okay So today is the first day I noticed it, the only game that currently makes it make that noise is Sims3. I think its the radiator pump as that sounds like its coming from that area, but when I stress tested the gpu and cpu the noise wasn't there.

On BF4 its there but its very faint, I had the case open and had to be pretty close to here it.

Honestly I'm at a loss, when playing sims3 it was VERY loud.

edit--- Under 100% CPU load the noise doesn't exist and Under 100% GPU load the noise doesn't exist. Literally the noise only exists while playing sims3 or slightly while playing Battlefield 4. Does Anyone have any idea whats causing this?

System Specs----
I5 2500k sitting at 4.2 ghz

Samsung 840 evo 120g
WD Black 1TB
16g of Kingston hyper x anniversary ram (1866mhz)

It's the EVO 840. I have same ssd 120gb. Just did a search online, found some forums going back and forth over which component was culprit. Common denominator was evo 840. I have it too, all the time, about 9 months now, making my ears ring and causing headaches. It was the only new part to the system at the time. I am wondering if newer style case with ssd mount between mobo & right side cover would help block some of the sqeal. Or a sound proof case. Probably backup to hdd & rma, now that I know it is not normal. This was my first ssd. Hope this helps.
