Hello everyone,
I've decided to build my own gaming PC, and since my knowledge on the subject is null I decided to ask a friend to help me build one since he claimed he knows a lot about the subject. I wanted something that would last about 3 - 5 years capable of playing the latest games at high settings, not necessarily "ultra" settings, I also do not plan on playing the games with the best graphics that are going to come out, but would like to be able to run them just in case and lastly I'd also like to be able to stream games (with good FPS) since my internet connection is great . My budget is around $1000 - $1300 CA. My friend said that the best place to order the parts from was NewEgg and he came up with the following build:

Hard Drive: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822236625
Graphics Card: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130921
RAM: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231428
CPU: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819116941
Power supply: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139054
Motherboard: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813132130
Case: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811139041
CD/DVD burner: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16827135204

This all comes down to $1187 without tax/shipping (a little bit high since I also need a monitor and Windows 8) please any 2nd opinions or thoughts and changes that you would make if you are knowledgeable on the subject, thanks a lot in advance!

Don't forget to buy Windows 7/8 64-bit (maybe from g2a.com it's cheap there) and a few extra fans because with a i7 and a GTX 770 things are going to get hot, a lot. It's a pretty good rig, should last.
