About to build a new computer, some gaming and some CAD. Have trouble deciding between the two boards, I want Bluetooth and WiFi which leans towards the PRO but the performance is better with the hero, can anyone assist me please? If you suggest Hero please link to Bluetooth and WiFi items

Thankyou in advanced :)

Solution
Think from the sounds of it, I'd go the Pro, it has the Wifi built in. I've got the Z97 Hero and have built on the Pro, both are very good, for high end OCing and DRAM usage I'd give the Hero the nod, but with the combination the Pro will be a very good choice

Solution
The PERFORMANCE will be basically identical in the real world. Tests that attempt to differentiate motherboard performance are rarely typical such as putting game resolution to its lowest to increase bus activity from the CPU. When you play a game at normal frame rates the difference rarely exceeds 1% between similar motherboards.

The best board for you is more about whatever FEATURES one board has over the other.

*The HERO board for example, has an awesome audio feature. If you attach STEREO headphones to the front of the case, the onboard audio solution can create a virtual surround solution (converts surround to stereo in real time).

This is far better than so-called "surround" gaming headphones that do this with multiple speakers which often don't line up properly to create a 3D audio solution to our brains.
