Hi, first of all english is not my native language so sorry for some mistake :)

i currently have this configuration:

-i7 860 = stock fan, no OC,mobo doesn't support OC
-12Gb ram
-Gtx 650

If i upgrade :

-i5 4690k
-8GB ram
-Gtx 770 or 780 (or wait for series 800)

Other thing i've thinking is probably only upgrade my GPU to GTX 770 or GTX780 or even 800 series (and probably bottleneck) and one SSD

I use my PC only for gaming and other normal things (youtube, mail , facebook, etc) .The reason for an upgrade is for games like The Witcher 3, Dragon Age and modded Skyrim. My monitor have 1080p resolution.

So like the title said should i wait for skylake or upgrade?

More about : upgrade devil canyon wait skylake

I think you would do better upgrading the gpu but either cpu or gpu would be a nice upgrade.

Get an SSD but know that it wont improve performance, just loading times for anything installed on it

I think you could trigger your upgrade now, you will be good for another 2-3 years.

If I were you, I would just wait until that i7 dies, because is still a very good chip and will perform without problems in any game. Upgrade the GPU.
