So, recently my SSD failed so I got a new one and did a clean install of everything. Everything works fine except that the case fans now don't spin. I have speedfan and the fans show up as 0 RPM each. I go into the BIOS and the fans are N/A. I don't know if I have to install drivers or something... Please help.

Are they still plugged in ? To what headers ? Does speedfan have a profile for your MoBo ? There are no drivers for fans.

They are all still plugged in. They used to work before I reinstalled everything so I'm assuming it's not a connection issue. And I don't know about the profile but my MoBo is an Asus P8Z77-V Le Plus.

To add more information, when I play with the fan controlling knows in my case, the fans fidget a little and then stop working. I don't know if this helps.

What is the "fan controlling knows"

Are the fans connected to the Mother board or something else ?

Again, what are these knobs on.....what do fan wires connect to ? IS this a built in case controller, a 3rd party controller... ? Have you tried just connecting them to a MoBo header ?

Im wpndering if you still have power to the built in case fan controller.... try disconnecting the fans and connecting them to MoBo headers.
