do I uninstall drivers? do I uninstall and reinstall all nvidia programs? They're both MSI (MSI 650 1GB OC to a MSI 660 2GB OC). Also will the EVGA 500w (100-W1-0500-KR) run the 660 fine?

Solution
1. Uninstall nvidia drivers from control panel and shut down
2. replace 650 with 660 (dont forget pcie plugs)
3. boot up and download latest driivers from nvidia website
4. Install and restart

Ur psu will work with GTX660.

Go ahead and try it. All Nvidia Geforce desktop GPUs since the 8000 series use the same driver. Worst case is it doesn't work and you just go to the Nvidia driver page and DL the one they link you to when you choose the 660. (click on "supported products" tab: http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/75991/en-us)
