hey , i brought the r9 270x vapor x 3 months earlier, and i'm pretty satisfied with the card's performance. it produces me 40-50 fps in most of the games at 1080p with ultra to high settings and the details are very good.
i also have a z77 board and overclocked my ci5 3570(non k) to 3.8 ghz... so i don't care about the cpu anymore. as i'm satisfied with my card , so just asking will it be able to hold 1080p at high to ultra preset for another 8-10 months or a year since i will upgrade soon not after 2-3 years.
if it could den i can spend some money on really fancy stuffs
like a razor mechanical keyboard.
one of my friend has it and looks really cool with that backlit and mechanical stuff.
Or otherwise if r9 270x isn't able to even play for 8-9 months at 1080p ultra with at least 30-40 fps den i'll spend on as soon as i can on a gfx card and buy a r9 280x .
actually i'm waiting for the gtx 800 series to launch in the market nd a little stabilized price of that series after the launching price tag.
soI'm looking for an option here, which way should i go?
if i should buy the keyboard, den pls suggest me a good gaming, mechanical keyboard with really cool and backlit stuff.
thanks in advance

once the 800s come out, get a 780. as we expect a price dropwhen it will come out then i think a gtx 870 will outperform a gtx 780(as it happened compared to gtx 680 and 770)
and nvidia has promised that the price will be even lower for gtx 800 series. which means gtx 870 will be cheaper than 770. so i don't see any reason to do that. and that will be a good waste of money

we saw very very slight inprovement from a 680 to 770.
if you have a 680 there is NO reason to get a 770 or 780 considering how close the cards are.
we expect to see a real world improvement of 5-12fps from a 780 and an 880.
but we expect to see a price drop of the 700s. EG: 780=$783 after the drop 780= $650. these are just the pricing for my country, but basicly the same for most others

and for the price being lower for 800s, I don't feel as if it will be much lower. and if it is much lower then alot of places will drop the price of the 700s alot just to get rid of stockyup. online retailers can drop the price. but would that be as lower that it will even overcome the current price tag of gtx 770! i don't think so.. the manufacturers price isn't even higher than that.? then comes the retailers

Depending on your psu you could also get another r9 270 and run crossfire when the time came that you were no longer satisfied. Just another option..
Personally though, if I were pleased with my current setup I would get other things. Should also check out Cooler Master and Corsair keyboard offerings. Razr isn't exactly known for great quality. I picked up the CM Storm quickfire tk on Amazon a while back for I think $70, and love it.

I don't think you'll get enough marginal value in an upgrade to the 770/280x range, given that you already *have* the 270x and are happy with it. I would wait another GPU generation to price upgrades and go with the "lifestyle" choice for now in improving a peripheral. i didn't get you actually, what did u mean by lifestyle choice!
and anyway will i be fine for 8-10 months with r9 270x 1080p ultra?

Please, as a gamer do yourself a favor and avoid buying razer's over priced crap.... You can get cheap mechanical keyboards that light up and are rated far higher than RAZER..... oh and they actually have decent warranties.how is the cooler master devastator? its also offering a gaming mouse with it(though i have one by logitech 4000dpi).
but still its a great combo for just 27$ isn't it a amazing deal?
here's the link

I mean "lifestyle choice" as things that don't increase the power of your PC, but aid you in your day-to-day usage, like a better mouse, keyboard, better monitor, etc.
GPUs age quickly, but generally steadily. The 270x should certainly be fine for another 9 months, though there's always the possibility of particular games requiring slightly lower settings - for example, Crysis 3 already would tax it greatly at 1080p ultra. But let's say there's a game you want to play in 6 months that you have to play at high instead of ultra. Is playing at first on high instead of ultra worth getting a much better keyboard? I think it is, though that's going to be a personal decisions for you.

A mechanical keyboard generally does improve your words per minute, cherry mx reds are great for gaming, but won't improve your typing experience like cherry mx blacks will (loud click with a big bump).
Mechanical keyboards are usually more durable and higher quality as long as you avoid liquids.
As for led lights, that's entirely up to you. Personally I would consider that near the end of the priorities of my budget, but for some, that's really all that they want.
Really at your budget the options for mechanical are limited unless you wait for a sale. CM Storm quickfire rapid is close to your budget, is a great keyboard, but is ten keyless and has no leds.
If budget was less of a concern, really you can't go wrong with anything mechanical from corsair, cooler master, or ducky. Generally they will run from $75-130
Some specific ones to Google for:
CM Storm quickfire tk
CM Storm quickfire rapid
CM Storm quickfire xl
CM Storm trigger
Corsair k65
Corsair k70
Corsair k90
Check some of these out, see what you like, see if you want to reconsider your budget. If not then...
Non mechanical like I said, Microsoft sidewinder is hugely popular, and anything from Logitech is usually pretty good and comes with a good warranty.

Blacks are linear switches, like the reds - they don't have a loud click with a big bump. The difference is blacks require about a third more force than the reds do. You're describing blues there. Browns offer tactile feedback without the click sound. Greens are stiffer blues. The other Cherry MX switches are relatively rare and someone who uses them has likely specifically sought them out.
