Hello guys, my friend is going to send his old motherboard and CPU, he is also going to send me a new VGA,
So what i am going to do is replace my old components with these new parts.
These are the new components:
MotherBoard: ASUS Rampage II Extreme. http://
CPU: Intel Core i7 965 3.2GHz 8M L3 Cache. http://
VGA: Gigabyte GTX 760 GDDR5-2GB . http://
Here is is my current PC:
MotherBoard: GIGABYTE P55A-UD3R. http://
CPU: Intel Core i5-760 Processor 2.8. http://
VGA: GIGABYTE GTX 260 OC. http://
PSU: GIGABYTE 450W. http://
RAM: KRETON ES 2GB DDR3 1600 CL9 x 4 parts so thats 8 giga, Couldn't find any website for it, but it looks like this: http://
It seems that i am going to need a new PSU, and in my city we only have two CPU brand's which is IKONIK GAIA 500w http:// and the FSP 500W SAGA II http://.
What do you guys think? could my old GIGABYTE 450W PSU handle the new components? or should i buy this new PSU?.
