i recently added a corsair force gt 120gb to my system and was expecting fast performance however i am getting quite the opposite and my pc takes longer to boot than my original HDD , along with my SSD i have 2 samsung drives a 1tb and 1.5tb.
also i cannot access my HDD's anymore as it says access denied

any help would be much appreciated
thanks

Solution
Yea Crystal Disk Mark is usually the go to program that most people use but ATTO is up there as well.

Now does it just take a while for windows to start up or for the PC to POST when drive is connected?

i did a fresh install and i tested my drive with crystal disk and got 360mb/s read and about 150 write speeds which isnt that slow but still slower than what its meant to be

ok so i did a test on ATTO and the speeds are drastically better i got 550 read and 520 write , i managed to get access to the 1tb drive but the 1.5tb still doesnt allow me acces and i am wondering if that may be causing me slow start ups etc because when i unplug that drive its almost instant startup
