Can my motherboard support the ASUS GeForce GTX 760 DirectCU II OC??

I have a Gigabyte GA-M52LT-D3 motherboard and an AMD Phenom II X6 1055t CPU.
I just wanna know if my motherboard is compatible with the ASUS GeForce GTX 760 GPU and whether I will be able to get good FPS when gaming with this setup.
I also have 8GB of RAM and GT-ATX 500W power supply

Thanks in advance :D

More about motherboard support asus geforce gtx 760 directcu
  1. well motherboard has nothing to do with the GPU but your processor may bottleneck the card..
  2. Yes your motherboard can support gtx760.....BUT as prit87 Said your cpu will definitely bottleneck the card..................So i will not recommend this .......

So that basically means I will got get the best performance??
And if i want that,i need an Intel Core i5 4570 3.2 GHz(I found on a site its best with that i5) and a new motherboard?
And can u suggest some motherboards to go with that i5?

But my power supply can provide enough power for the GTX,regardless of the CPU?

    Thanks anyway...
  4. If you are on a budget get a
    Asus p8b75-M
    or
    Msi B75ma-P45......best for a I5.......
In case of your power supply...... U have a 500wt
Psu which is not enough for gtx 760.....
As the minimum requirement of gtx 760 is 600wt............. So...I suggest to get a gtx660 which is the best mid-range gpu for 1080p gaming...........
I u want to build a buget pc....I can help u......... Just give me your pc spec...full.....

if u want to switch to Intel you have to change your motherboard as well which u already know..now for i5 4570 get a h87 chipset board ..... and for the psu if you are not going to oc the gpu then its fine a bit tight though...

Alright thanks but i read somewhere that the GeForce GTX 760 (http://www.geforce.com/hardware/desktop-gpus/geforce-gtx-760/specifications) needs at least 500W....
Maybe I'll get the ASUS 660 or 660 Ti?
Also, these motherboards that you gave me only support 3rd generation of core i5s..If i decide to buy an i5,i have already chosen the i5 4570 3.2 GHz(thats 4th generation)..and theGigabyte GA-B85M-DH3 seems just fine for that CPU

I think that the gigabyte GA-B85M-D3H seems just fine...it supports the 4rd generation of intel core i3s i5s and i7s...costs around 65 euros or $90 i think
