I've had an optical mouse for a few months. It was working fine, then one day it randomly stopped working. The laser underneath my mouse is working. I know this because whenever I put my finger near it, it lights up. The laser underneath is also clean and free of dirt. I think I have the drivers as it was working one day, then stopped working the next. I doubt the drivers got deleted over-night. The mouse was my brothers, then it stopped working so he bought a new one. I've tried using the mouse on my computer now, but it still doesn't work.
Any ways of fixing it?
I've tried different USB Ports aswell
I've noticed that in Device Manager, in Mice and Pointing Devices, there is only one mouse driver in there. This is the driver of my current mouse. How can I download the driver? It is a mouse I bought from the internet, and it hasn't got a brand so I don't know where to get the driver from. It is meant to be Plug and Play
