Hello guys,

I will try to be as short and clear as possible. I'm desperate :D.

Had to change my hard because the old one died. Mounted the new one and proceeded with installing Windows 7. All went good.

System specs :

Motherboard : Asus P7P55D-E
Processor : Intel i5 760 @ 2.8 GHz (4 cores)
GPU : AMD Radeon HD 6850
DDR : Kit Dual Channel Kingston 2 x 2048GB (DDR 3) 1333 MHz
HARD : Western Digital Blue 1TB, 7200rpm, 64MB, SATA 3
PSU : Rasurbo Silent&Power DLP-55.1 550 W

Installed all the latest drivers, a few games, then the problems began.

At first, only in games, either online ones or single-players, the game would freeze for 2-3 mins > sound in the loop > black screen for another 2-3 mins > crash to desktop (also, the net would suffer a minor spike - I observed that I received disconnections while in the online games)

The problem disappeared when I stopped powering my fans (2 x 120 mm) placed on the side cover of my case. One was powerd straight from the PSU and one attached on the motherboard.

At this point, i thought that the PSU is to blame, believing that somehow it got damaged and was not providing anymore the proper voltage and current to components.
Of course the fans don't consume so much but had no other theory at that moment.

It got worse...(too much drama:D)

Even with the fans off, the freezes in the game would still appear with the same behavior plus a new situation (described below)

When loading different websites, system freezes > If i don't press anything after 2-3 minuted he returns to the normal state;
However, if a press Ctrl+Alt+Del to try to stop the process a message with "Preparing security options" appears then a super fast BSOD with no dump file.
Another case is when pressing the super combo (Ctrl+Alt+Del ) instead of the message above i get either the " Ctrl+Alt+Del login menu could not be started | something like that " OR if I'm LUCKY i get a slow BSOD with the following cause : 7A 0x0000007A and the physical memory dump fails due to error
0xC0000185. (3 times i "managed" to get a slow BSOD )

I also detached the net, same thing happens (when in single players games).

I started the debug, following all the common sense tests found on the internet :

- Changed the Sata ports and the sata cable for the hard;
- Ran the check disk from windows for all drives - All were ok
- Ran a software from Western Digital to check the hard drive - All green; no errors;
- Ran Memtest86+ - No errors
- Ran in Safe mode first then in normal mode : Combofix + Malware bytes - Nothing found;
- Ran TDSSKiller from Kaspersky - Nothing found;
- Measured the voltage that enters the PSU and the voltages provided through each connector from the PSU to components : within the proper values;

Ran out of ideas. Soon i will try a new PSU, to see if this behavior maintains.
Though, i have doubts now, that the PSU is the mother of all evil, after i saw the voltages.

God's internet is huge or something like that :

The error that is preventing the system to create a dump file (0xC0000185) is, as THE MIGHTY INTERNET says, caused by improper termination or defective cabling on SCSI devices or that two devices are trying to use the same IRQ.

I found the IRQ assignments, but got lost in translation.

Thank you for reading this ! Much appreciated !

If it's not to much :p, can you please share some thoughts on this issue I have ?
If i can run other programs or test new things ?

If i forgot to mention some information, please let me know and I will post what it has to be posted :D.

I attached the dxdiag file plus a file with my current IRQ's (links below). Maybe there is something fishy there and you can see it. I don't know where to look.

/bow /thanks !!! :D

I tested the system with a new PSU and that did the job..it seems that my current PSU is damaged. It worked perfectly with the new PSU.

I will buy a new one and everything will get back to normal.

Thank you again for reading my post !
