Is there anything I need to improve? I am still wondering on whether that is a good PCI because this is my first time building a gaming computer, I've done a lot of research over the months to make the cheapest gaming build, (under $600). Thanks in advance!

More cores doesn't always mean better especially when comparing Intel and AMD. AMD generally add more cores just to smoothen out the performance of their chips while intel have stronger per core performance which is why they excel in single threaded tasks hence gaming. All I can tell you is that neither of these chips will last you a long time but "currently" as seen in those benchmarks the Intel outperforms the Athlon in almost every game especially when overclocked and if you are looking to upgrade in a few months time it would be wise to go with the Intel as theirs really not much on the FM2 platform

If you are not going to OC the Pentium then rather stick with the Athlon as most of the Pentiums potential comes with the OC

Why not go for a Pentium G3258 ?

It beats the Athlon in almost every game and on overclock matches an i3, plus you have a better upgrade path

Do I really need a CPU cooler even when I am not going to overclock? I don't think it's needed for me to be honest. And also I am getting all of this from amazon, so I'm going to have to change the motherboard. Thanks for your build suggestion ^_^

I just added the cooler incase you want to bump the chip up. I chose that mobo because it's cheap and has built in one click profiles to oc that chip to 4.2 ghz max which will give it a nice boost.

It only has 2 cores though? What if I won't overclock? More cores the better? Is it good for gaming too?

If you haven't already, you can check this article
http://

I don't think the Pentium is a future proof option because of it's two cores but currently it performs pretty well in those games tested especially when overclocked. The upgrade path is also much better

So you're saying that the CPU isn't future proof with the 2 cores, but you're keeping me away from buying a 4 core CPU? :p. I know it's good for overclocking but I don't feel like overclocking in this build. It's when I learn more about PC's and how they operate in many ways. Then I will start to think of overclocking some components.

Your current build looks good but I'm sure you can squeeze an fx 6300 in that $600 since you're not buying ram

Ok I will think about adding a FX 6300, just gotta move things around to my liking in the budget. But I also forgot to mention that I will be running dual monitors, they both aren't going to be for gaming, one is going to be for gaming and the other is going to be some other stuff, I do streams and I do want to look at the chat without getting out of the game or doing CTRL + TAB. So I am just wondering if the build I listed is good for dual monitors. Or If I added an 6300. Thanks in advance.

I put it in the post. But it has to be under $600. Without the Ram OS and optical drive. Please include a keyboard and mouse. Gaming keyboard and mouse please c:. And also please include a WNA

By going with a cheaper keyboard and case, definitely possible
