This might be a question that can only be answered by those who own the card, but can anyone tell me if the MSI GTX 750 Ti 2GB GPU (specifically this model http://us.msi.com/product/vga/N750Ti2GD5OC.html) features the Hybrid BIOS switch that is featured on the higher end MSI GTX 750 Ti Twin Frozr Gaming GPU?

I'm considering this card, but I've been reading that there may be compatibility issues with GTX 750 Ti cards and HP systems, preventing the PC to fully boot. Apparently the MSI 750 that does feature the before mentioned switch might resolve these problems for those with non-UEFI systems by allowing you to toggle between UEFI and BIOS Legacy modes.

I can't seem to find much in the way of in-depth overviews on the card I linked, let alone whether it features that very small switch. So if anyone does have knowledge of this card having that feature, I'd very much appreciate your help.

Somehow I did not notice that, despite actually looking for it. Thanks for the reply. Do you own or have experience with the card yourself, or did you simply spot it in the picture, by the way?

Saw it on the picture. I've looked to see if my GPU had one a while back (It didn't sadly) and I just knew what the switches looked like and that they are on the side of the PCB.

I did not end up using the MSI GTX 750 Ti. I ended up with the EVGA GTX 750 Ti 2GB and I actually had no compatibility issues with the card and my HP system. Once or twice, however, after the power had gone out while my PC was on, I did run into a problem upon immediately rebooting where I couldn't move past a black screen that showed nothing but a single blinking cursor. Fortunately, unplugging my monitor from the GPU and plugging it back in solved that problem both times.
I mention that issue because I had read of people not being able to get past a black screen with a blinking cursor after installing this GPU in their HP systems. I can't say whether what I experienced was exactly the same as what they were having trouble with, though. I would assume it wasn't, since my problem was solved so easily and didn't happen during the first boot after installing the GPU.

Nope, there is no hybrid BIOS switch on the EVGA card I'm using. I had already received it before I learned of the potential compatibility issues and would have kept it sealed and returned it in favor of the MSI card, but I ended up being able to open and test the card without a restocking fee risk.

If the information might help you at all, the specific HP I'm using with the GPU is a (fairly old now) HP Pavilion p6310y.

5-years later, I'm in the same quandary (although not with HP). Can you tell me if you went ahead with this purchase - and did it work for you?
