Hi
Will this motherboard (at the bottom) be able to allow overclocking the i5 3570k with the EVO 212. And if so how much.
Asus Z77-A ATX LGA1155 Motherboard

Solution
Yes, you can oc.
How much is determined by your luck of the bin.
Be conservative and leave the voltage to auto.
The 3570K is very good at stock. Take what oc you can get and be happy.

It should be able to, as to how far you can OC it, I can't say for sure. Every CPU is different and can OC to different levels. But yes, with adequate cooling, I'd think you can get at least 4.2-4.4GHz out of it.

Only way to find out is by trying it out, every chip is different, but that motherboard will support a decent overclock. You probably could get at least 3.9ghz, change the multiplier and find out. See if you could do it without changing the voltages.
