So I am planning on building a PC for the first time, and I don't know a lot about drivers.

I think I need drivers for the Motherboard and GPU, but I also heard I Ubuntu (sorry, I am on a budget and will swap to windows when I have the money) automatically installs the drivers. Do I need drivers for anything else (e.g. do I need Ethernet drivers)? My parts are:

Motherboard: Gigabyte 970A-UD3P
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Gigabyte-970A-UD3P-Motherboard-Gigabit-Ethernet/dp/B00F5R9O46/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1404843922&sr=8-1&keywords=Gigabyte+GA-970A-UD3P#productDetails

GPU: Sapphire Radeon R9 270X 2GB
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sapphire-Dual-X-Radeon-GDDR5-Graphics/dp/B00FL8H49Q/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1403904587&sr=8-1&keywords=radeon+r9+270x

Please tell me about the drivers I need :/

Well, you will likely get basic graphics drivers with Ubuntu (don't quote me on this) and your ethernet drivers can be found on a disc that will come with your motherboard. Once you get your system running, go to the manufacturer websites and get the latest ones from the internet, as the ones on the provided disks can be outdated.
