I was having some major issues with my computer, and at first I thought it was the GPU, so I ordered a replacement. It turned out to be the motherboard, so I bought and installed a new one yesterday, and kept the new GPU. (The components in question are an ASRock Z77 Extreme4 motherboard and ASUS GeForce GTX760).

After doing a new, clean install of Windows 7, everything seemed to be working perfectly fine. After a few hours of gaming, however, artifacts started displaying on the screen. When I boot to safe mode and uninstall the nvidia drivers, everything seems to work just fine. However, once I reinstall the nvidia drivers, the issue comes back. Not sure what it could be considering it's a clean install of Windows 7 on top of a new motherboard and GPU.

What are your opinions?

Here is a video I took of the issue (sorry the size/angle, but you can get an idea of what's happening): https://flic.kr/p/ogkrPN

GPU overheating, Buggy drivers, bad GPU overclock, GPU undervolting by faulty PSU, etc.

Full specs:

windows version: Windows 7 Service Pack 1, 6.1, build: 7601
windows dir: CWindows
Hardware: ASRock, Z77 Extreme4
CPU: GenuineIntel Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2500K CPU @ 3.30GHz Intel586, level: 6
4 logical processors, active mask: 15
RAM: 16GB Corsair Vengeance
PSU: Corsair RM Series 750w 80Plus Gold-Certified (three months old)
GPU: ASUS GeForce GTX 760

I tried older drivers and the issue persisted, sometimes even displaying black checkers across the display. It shouldn't be an overheating issue, I was consistently monitoring my temps using Speedfan yesterday.
