Hello,
I've recently got all my new parts for my PC.

OS - Win8.1
CPU - GTX 780
CPU - i7 4790K
RAM - 8GB
(Sorry not specific)

And when trying to run ANY Game from Steam/Origin/etc they start. (The screen blinks changing resolution to full screen this is normal) then it just blinks again, and I'm back at desktop.

On my Steam it says I entered a game, then I closed it..

It does it to all my games.
I don't have a clue why. I've installed DirectX, and all of the Redistributables needed.
Even Steam's 'First Time Setup' installs what's needed.

But still it crashes, I wish I knew why..
I didn't spend all that money, to watch YouTube videos. xD

Thanks,
Amos!

Expensive YouTube machine you got there, LOL.

OK to get serious about your issue. From the way your describing it you did not re install the games, just reused the disk. AM I correct?

have you tried to verify the local game cache? in steam library right click game and go to properties / local files / verify integrity of game cache. This will check the files on the drive for any missing files. also you may need to re install the steam client itself.

Hehe thanks! :D
Yes, it's the same HDD from old PC, but that shouldn't be the problem all I'm doing is moving game data to new PC. (If that is the issue, say.. And I'll spend the next week re-downloading them. :))
Yeah, I've tried all that.. :L
Doesn't work. :(

I just want to be sure here about your HDD system, do you just ahve 1 HDD or 2? 1 with os and One with games? I'm trying to remember how I did this the last time I reinstalled My OS with multiple drives.

If it is a single drive then you will need to reinstall the OS.

try this, Unplug the one your not using and try to start the game. This an off the wall Idea but has happened to me in the past that the game screen is sent to the other monitor instead of the one I wanted. Can't hurt to try it Since you have reinstalled steam and a game and continue with the same issue.

EDIT: it is possible teh other monitor /TV is set to be monitor 1 instead of monitor 2.

Yeah, firewall isn't a problem. Shortcut isn't a problem, just checked. :(

Tomorrow, I'm reinstalling Windows, it's starting to seem a Windows issue, and not a Steam/Games.

Kinda disappointing, because I hate reinstalling. xD Too lazy.
