I recently assembled a new computer for my hobby of gaming.
I installed:

Asus Z87 Pro Motherbaord (new)
Intel 3.4 GHz LGA 1150 4770 i7 4th Generation Processor (new)
Corsair Vengeance DDR3 8 GB (1 x 8 GB) PC RAM (CMZ8GX3M1A1600C10) (new)
WD Caviar Green 3 TB Desktop Internal Hard Drive (WD30EZRX) (new)
Corsair VS550 550 Watt PSU (new)
NVidia GeoForce 210 Graphics Adapter (old)
DELL IN1930 Analog Montior (old)
OS: Windows 8.1

But still I can't play any games (I mean to say the games doesn't display and work properly). i.e: COD Black ops 2 doesn't even show the mouse pointer through which I can choose my controls, I am not sure about the graphics card compatibility with my motherboard.. Please suggest if I need to upgrade something, coz the graphics card and the monitor is from the older computer...

PS: there is one more problem, when I boot my computer, disk usage is at 100% for no reasons, as in there are only essential programs on start-up..

Do let me know if I need to do anything else... Please help

Solution
Corsair VS550 550 Watt PSU (new) < Not Haswell compatible
NVidia GeoForce 210 Graphics Adapter (old) < Poor quality for gaming

Corsair Vengeance DDR3 8 GB (1 x 8 GB) PC RAM (CMZ8GX3M1A1600C10) (new) < You need 2 matching modules to run in DUAL Channel mode.
