get a usb keyboard and try getting and get their drivers
try device manager to check wheather there is anydrver related issues

my pc tooo had this problem ,but the keyboard would work in th boot menu but not after the windows showed up, for me the issue was with the keyboaard drivers . since i had the mouse working i got it right
if your keyboard is a ps/2 it should work
or try safe mode

Are they plugged in to a USB 2.0 port?
Usually you have to download the USB 3 drivers for those ports to work.

Failing that, you could try finding a PS/2 keyboard, those usually work in these kinds of situations.
All this from a restore is a bit silly though. You most likely just need to reboot or something.
