I'm a BE graduate. Going for my ME (Master of Engg) very shortly. I wanna buy a laptop. I often have to deal with bulky softwares such as MATLAB, ECLIPSE etc. My requirements are speed (CPU, USB ports), good graphics for gaming, and good enough storage (RAM). Pls suggest me the configuration of the laptop i should go for. Brief on different companies would be really nice......... the budget wud b around 40k -50k indian rupees.......

somewhere betwn 40k to 50 k..... if its less than tht, it wud b still better ;-)

And what valuta are you talking about? 40 000 euro? 40 000 dollars? 40 000 yen? Could make a small difference :)

INR- indian rupees.... also how does the generation affect d speed??... like 3rd gen i3, 4th gen i5
