Last few days my pc will randomly shut down without rebooting and clicking the power button wont work. I have to wait a few minutes until it will let me start it back up. I know the fan is working and the airflow/heat inside has been the same always been cool. So I don't THINK its overheating and the max my cpu has been is 57 at max with gaming and other things going on. I haven't done anything to my computer or downloaded really anything to cause this so I don't know.

Specs:
Windows 8.1 64 bit
ASUS motherboard (Forgot model)
7770 AMD video card
8320 8-core AMD cpu 4.0 GHZ
16gb of ram
750watt psu

Overclocking: No
Fans: 3 60mm, and 1 200mm that is currently off because its broken

If you need anything like dxdiag or msinfo32 let me know and I can send a copy. My pc hates me I think because something always breaks.. Hopefully someone can help me out :D

install and open hardware monitor and prime 95 and run the test if it shuts down i think you are having a cpu temperature issue if your processor have been installed for long period of time please remove the heatsink and re apply the thermal paste, also it might be bad connectors make sure everything is intact withing your motherboard and psu

My computer just did it again, and checked the cpu temperature under BIOS and it was at 83 and decreasing so it must be the thermal paste.. because now that I think about it, it has been ages since I put it on last. Ill go see if I can find my thermal paste. Worst case I can go buy some. Ill report back if it fixed the problem :D
