I've got a vapor-x 290 which I was overclocking before I hit a black screen. I did a system restore to the previous day and now the clock speeds are 515 and 700 for memory. What can I do?
thanks!

It's probably on idle. What voltage is it on?

What does it run to while gaming?

I've managed to put it back on 1030/1400 through trixx by pressing reset. Voltage is resting at around 1.008 according to GPU-Z.

I can't return to my overclocked settings at all without hitting black screen again. :/

Maybe you over overclocked it and burnt it out. Try just small overclocks and increase them till it fails. Then don't go to that point again.

Really... Is there any way to check if I've burnt it? I didn't even push it that high compared to other vapor's. 1165/1650 and it was fine until 1620.

Try just small overclocks and increase them till it fails (testing with Furmark or Kombustor etc). Then don't go to that point again.

Post the results.

I've been benching with unigine heaven and it's been going smoothly at 1160/1600 with VDDC offset at 62. No artefacts so far

If your happy with that, then leave it. Else continue.
