Hey guys! I see alot of questions of "can my pc run Arma/DayZ" etc but im just curious..I haven't really purchased any parts yet but this is my "build" I've been working on..Is this sufficient for decent gameplay on Arma 2/3 and DayZ? I know they aren't optimized and are intensive..any changes or suggestions would be great. My budget is about 1000 USD- I already have Windows 7 HOME professional..is that a problem? Made some changes here and there to make it perform better and be cheaper at the same time. I also added an HDD because 120GB isn't enough.
I kept the OS but if you already have one you don't need to buy another one.

Solution
you have to put money into where it counts here is what you can do would be a lot faster

What makes yours better than what I posted? I love everything you posted.. I am a noob in pc building..better gpu and cpu..do you play these games? If so, whats your average fps ? I'm not trying to play on ultra..I'd be happy with high/medium

Well my build has better CPU and GPU it has twice the SSD storage and 1TB hard drive 120GB ssd would hardly fit windows and maybe 1-2 games it would make no sense i made cost cutting by getting cheaper case as investing into hardware is much more beneficial then having a pretty case(200r is a top rated budget case) as far as the power supply it says XFX but actual manufacturer of it is seasonic as you had in your build you essentially pay for it to say "seasonic".

OK so:

CPU: Newer version, overclocks better and has better temperatures.
CPU cooler: They're kind of the same thing, but the EVO is slightly better and currently cheaper.
Motherboard: Z97 chipset to go with the CPU. Really well priced.
SSD: More than double the capacity for $25 more. High quality as well.
HDD: Added one.
GPU: It was cheaper. And it is smaller, which may be helpful.
Case: It's a good case and cheaper than the one you selected $30. There's no point in having a $100 case in a build like this.
PSU: Went for something less efficient and non-modular, I know, but it's really good. And again, cheaper.
Optical drive: They're all the same. That one was cheaper :)

You can also take the route esco went, which is getting a cheaper case and a better GPU like a GTX 770.
