As i'm building a new PC i'm torn between getting a 600W and having enough power or getting a 750W for future upgrades. So as I said I don't know if I should skimp out and use a 600W or just opt for the 750W.

Microsoft Windows 8.1
AMD FX-6300 Vishera 6-Core 3.5GHz (4.1GHz Turbo)
CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB)
GIGABYTE GV-N760OC-2GD REV2.0 GeForce GTX 760 2GB
GIGABYTE GA-970A-UD3P AM3+ AMD 970
WD BLACK SERIES WD1003FZEX 1TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache
LITE-ON DVD Burner

600 W is more than enough. Make sure you get a good brand, and if possible, get at least bronze certified so your electric bill stays down. Try Corsair's CM series if you have a local Microcenter nearby. They typically sell them for $60 for a fully modular CM 600, which is a great price.

UPDATE: For an idea of how much power you'll be using, I have a GTX 770 and an FX-6300 at 4.5 GHz with my 650 W PSU. I did the calculations, and if I bought an i5-4690k and got a second GTX 770 in SLI, I might go over my PSU's limit. Key emphasis on might. 600 W is just fine for headroom for upgrades.

Yes, 600 watts is more than you need (unless you want to run 2 video cards).

Personally I would recommend the Antec BP550 Plus 550W. It is fully modular and comes with 2 PCIE power adapters (only one is 8 pin, though so no dual GPU cards, R9 290 or Titan Z). It goes for $69 including shipping from either Amazon or NewEgg right now.

As far as brands go, it is hard to go wrong with Antec, Corsair, EVGA, or SeaSonic.

CX600M is only semi modular. Get the Antec HCG 620M instead for $65.

Antec HCG 620m $65 after $20 instant coupon (good thru July 13th)
www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371059

Made by Seasonic and comes with a 5 year warranty. The HCG 620m is semi modular

If you were getting non-modular CX600 then I recommend the XFX TS 550 instead. The price is about the same but warranty is 5 years compared to 3 years.

XFX TS 550 $60
