I have a friend buying a PC and he has everything covered except the ones in the following list:

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

CPU: AMD FX-8320 3.5GHz 8-Core Processor (£98.20 @ Scan.co.uk)
Motherboard: MSI 970A-G46 ATX AM3+ Motherboard (£55.16 @ Scan.co.uk)
Memory: Corsair XMS3 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1333 Memory (£61.82 @ CCL Computers)
Storage: Toshiba 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive (£52.79 @ Aria PC)
Video Card: XFX Radeon HD 7870 2GB Video Card (£119.74 @ Scan.co.uk)
Power Supply: EVGA SuperNOVA NEX 650W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply (£67.99 @ Novatech)
Other: CiT Xecutioner Mesh Gaming Case with Black/Blue Interior and 12cm Blue LED Fan (£27.49)
Total: £483.19

The budget is upto £550 and its meant to be an all round PC.

To be honest mate for the price youve gone for that an excellent pc really good prices on all the stuff. Id say the 8320 is slight overkill and could save the cash and use a 6350 (if general gaming use) and put the cash towards an ssd, samsung or crucial make decent ones

Also id suggest spending an extra couple £ on a 1600 or 1866mhz ram.for the small price its worth the extra performance and also maybe look at a 280x its basically a rebranded 7870 but is a newer chip, might be able to grab for similar price point

MUCH BETTER!
you won't really be needing a Gold EVGA 650W PSU as its not a high end build too
an XFX 550W is just enough
added a better GPU,MOBO AND RAM
