Hello, so this is my 1st build ever and i had alot of questions, most of them are answered, so when i was checking one last time, i saw this warning which said:
"Some AMD 970 chipset motherboards may need a BIOS update prior to using Vishera CPUs."
Build link: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/y3fddC
Do i need to change the board? and what board is better, the current which is MSI 970A-G46 or ASUS M5A97 R 2.0,
thanks in advance

The 270X is better then the 270
and if you wanna save some money on the PSU you could just go with the XFX 550W its more then enough
i just went with the 650W because its on the same price as the 550w

Go with the MSI it will work even without a BIOS update but it is Extremely recommended to update the bios once you buy this MOBO

what if it doesnt? i checked the update logs, and it starts to support amd vishera only after 1.10 which is about 1 year from its release, which version does it come with when i buy it? and the xfx 550W is not bronze, the corsair is bronze

Build the computer, If it has no issues then don't update the BIOS. Get the coarsair PSU, Im guessing that it will have a better build quality!

lol it will not work if the bios version is old. because it will not accept the CPU, but anyways i changed the MOBO to GA-970A-UD3P , and its ok
