Hey guys, im just wondering if i can run GTA V on low or mid settings, cause im not sure but i want to have this game on PC so much. Sorry if im in the wrong category, I am new here.

Intel Core i7 2600-k
Nvidia GT 430 2 GB VRAM
3 GB RAM
Windows 7 32 bit

Note that I can play GTA IV (patch 1.0.7.0) with reflection and water quality at high, but shadows low, with detail and view distance set to 35-40, with traffic density to 100, with FPS hovering in 25-40 fps

Thanks for the help...

Your graphics card would probably hold it back slightly. But its hard to tell how the PC version will go when it's not out yet.

Your GPU might bottleneck performance but you should be able to play on low. Still, the game isn't out yet so we don't really know.

I suggest looking at the r9 270. The sapphire dual-x is the cheapest one I believe, and its basically a r9 270x but uses less power and is clocked lower.

Go for a R9 270 if you can, that would be your best bet for a graphics card for the price.

I would also suggest a 64-bit OS, but 32-bit is fine.

Your current card is holding back your entire system, the CPU is fine.

actually except your processor every thing will hold you back ......3 gb ram not at all enough for gaming as 1 gb ram is reserved by windows alone and u left with 2 gb and 32 bit only support 4 gb ram so update your os to a 64 bit and buy 8 gb ram recommended and at least 6gb minimum...you will also need a good gpu for gaming so as the person above me already mention a r9 270 will be good for u but that's not it you have not mentioned your psu u need a good 500 - 550 watt of psu for this card....here is a site where u can check the game compatibility with your system...

okk then you dont have to worry about the ram and psu ......your 8 gb is not usable because of your os 32 bit has the potential to use only 4 gb of ram...so you have to just upgrade your gpu and os to 64bit and u will be fine for gaming....

Very well then.... I'll upgrade my GPU as soon as i can...But i need to make sure that everything else is fine for playing GTA V, i mean....Nothing else is bottlenecking.....So do you think there is another thing that bottlenecks my PC?

you dont have to worry about bottle necking because your cpu is strong enough for any modern card....
