First off, I love the new DS4 controller, however I am not able to get it to work with my PC. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I downloaded XInput Mapper 1.2.2 program, however it is not working.

The DS4 does is not listed under "my devices" when I go to "my computer". When I open up the XInput Mapper 1.2.2, the controller is not listed in one of the four (4) slots - they all show up as "Disconnected". When I click the "Controllers" button in the application, the DS4 shows up as "wireless controller" with a status of "ok". When I navigate in the properties of the "wireless controller", the buttons all register.

I believe that I followed all of the steps that were listed under this link's tutorial.

Solution
You can download the open source software from here: http://dsdcs.com/index.php/portfolio/software-development/4-ds4windows. This will allow you to connect your DS4 controller to the PC, configure it and add your personal profile with many options. Its not perfect and the bluetooth is a little buggy for some people, including myself. But if you purchase a mini usb cord (or use an old one laying around), you will have a faster response time than bluetooth anyway and its reliable. Just an option.

I'm not an expert but I'm pretty sure your computer needs bluetooth to wirelessly link with the DS4, or as you probably know you can play wired by buying the micro usb and plugging it into the computer
