I have an AsRock Z97 Extreme 4 with an i7-4790k and a EVGA SuperNova 750G2. It's my first custom build. I've kept out all of the ancillary expansions until I can get the motherboard driver installed and Win8 installed on my 128 Gb SSD.
However, the issue I'm facing is upon when I first boot, I'm not getting any signal to my monitor which is a Samsung SnycMaster 2333HD. I've plugged it into the integrated HDMI out on the mb, but I get a return on the screen of "No signal". I've tested using the integrated DVI port instead and I still get the same result.
Additionally, I've connected keyboard through the integrated USB 2.0 or 3.0. My keyboard is a USB 2.0 and I've tried a PS/2 instead with still no results.
I don't know why I'm not getting a signal to either and I need some help. Questions are welcome! I really need to get this thing figured out ASAP.
