I have set up a gigabit connection, but my computer is only getting a 100mbps connection. I have 1000mbps from the ISP, a 1000mbps router with cable, cat5e cables and a gigabit ethernet network card. I use a DIR-850L router, and killer e2200 gigabit ethernet controller. HOw can i get a 1000mbps network connection? Thank you very much.

1 Gigabit LAN connection is what I think they meant. That's within your network. That's different than connecting to the outside world.

Google fibre and a number of other services can be 1000Mb/s. But it's worth checking - what ISP and plan?

Check that each link is at GbE.
